Originally from Michigan, Lisa Langell lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. She has “done” a lot of things to make an enjoyable living— from managing a pizzeria, to working as a master floral designer, a licensed psychologist, an international speaker, professional trainer and consultant in K-12 education, Chief Business Development Officer for an education technology company, a researcher, a writer, an artist and even a recruiter! Through all of those experiences, photography was always a calling since Lisa Langell was 8 years old. She began her photography business in 2010. Lisa has since won numerous national awards for her work, been published in prestigious magazines such as Arizona Highways, Ranger Rick, and more. She is also on the Board of Directors for the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA). Though photography has always been a favorite activity for her, it wasn’t until she combined photography with her backgrounds in art, education and tour guiding that it all came together: Creating one-of-a-kind, exciting, emotionally rewarding learning experiences for others! Lisa is passionate about providing, memorable, fun, and educational events that enrich, invigorate and expand photographers’ minds emotionally-- and intellectually! Having abundant fun while learning together is the key to participants’ success. Lisa works to make that happen for people every single day. Her program for April 12 is entitled "Contemporary Nature Photography: Making Modern Art."
