Nevada Camera Club sponsor and our friends at CSN are having a huge Photography Convention and they have invited the whole community to attend.  There will be a tradeshow and various lectures throughout the day.  Admission is free and everyone is encouraged to attend.  The schedule of events and the flyer is below.

As a professional photographer for over 25 years, James has been awarded the Photographic Craftsman & Master of Photography from PPA, Accolade of Photographic Mastery from WPPI, among many others. He is the author of 6 books including “Law & Advertising - Current Legal Issues for Agencies, Advertisers and Attorneys.” He specializes in the areas of advertising, marketing and is an expert witness in advertising law litigation cases. He’s also been a fine art photographer for over 30 years.

Contemporary Photographic Image Transfer Techniques. The CSN Alternative Process Photo Club will be demonstrating contemporary photographic image transfer techniques using Digital Transparencies, Alcohol Gel & Watercolor Papers. If you are interested in participating, bring your favorite digital image file and experience this creative process, hands on, from start to finish. All process supplies will be provided.

Framing and Matting demo with Michael Hendrick. Michael is a CSN grad who’s been doing framing and matting professionally for over 30 years. Along with framing and matting, he and his wife run a commercial photography business in Las Vegas.

An Evening with Legendary Rock & Roll photographer Robert M. Knight. Robert will discuss his career photographing the icons of the music industry. A Las Vegas-based photographer, Robert’s career started in 1968 and he’s consistently worked in the music industry for international record companies, publications and musical equipment manufacturers for over 40 years now. Best known for his “Guitar Legend” archive, having photographed Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton and many, many more.
