Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting, George Stocking presentation — September 10, 2010.
George Stocking will present his program, Compositional Power, at the Nevada Camera Club September 10 General Meeting. In this program, George presents an in-depth look at the use of composition to drive movement and drama in our images. George is a professional freelance photographer residing in Phoenix, Arizona. He works regularly as a contract photographer for Arizona Highways. In addition to capturing the natural beauty of the Arizona landscape, George photographs the western United States and Canada. His photographs have been published in numerous national publications including Backpacker, Outdoor Photographer, USGA Golf Journal, Country Magazine, Audubon Calendars, Adventure West, America West Airlines Magazine, Portal Publications, Impact, Towery Publications and Smith Southwestern. Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting, Tom Till presentation — August 13, 2010.
Internationally renowned landscape photographer Tom Till will present his program, There Was Light: Images, World Landscapes and How They Were Made, at the Nevada Camera Club August 13 General Meeting. Tom's images depict landscape, nature, history and travel subjects worldwide including all fifty states and nearly sixty countries. He is one of America's most published photographers with over 150,000 of his images appearing in print since 1977. Nevada Camera Club 2010 Annual Print Competition & Exhibition rules & entry form PDF file is available for viewing or printing from the Annual Competition web page and the Club Publications web page. The rules & entry form document is also available at selected Las Vegas area photographic retailers. The competition is open to the general public and Nevada Camera Club members. Anyone may enter and win. Entries are accepted October 22 and 23, 2010.

Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting, tabletop photography workshop — June 11, 2010.
The Nevada Camera Club June 11 Program Meeting features a tabletop photography workshop with eight different set-ups. Each tabletop set-up illustrates the use of a unique photographic discipline for an expanded learning experience. This is a hands-on workshop and participants should bring their own camera and tripod. The public is invited to the Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting and admission is free. Nevada Camera Club 2010 Annual Electronic Image Competition exhibition opening, artists' reception and multimedia presentation — July 13, 2010.
The Nevada Camera Club 2010 Annual Electronic Image Competition exhibition opening, artists' reception and multimedia presentation will take place at the Las Vegas Clark County Library District Whitney Library on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A multimedia presentation of all competition entries will be shown. Exhibition prints made from the first place entries in each category will be displayed in the gallery along with an exhibition of prints by Nevada Camera Club Photographer of the Year, Gary W. Potts. The public is invited and admission is free. The exhibition continues through September 14, 2010.

A new Nevada Camera Club general information and meeting location flyer is now available for electronic and print distribution. The flyer document is an Adobe PDF file which may be accessed from the Nevada Camera Club web site Club Publications page and then redistributed as print or electronic media.

Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting, Rick Decker presentation — May 14, 2010.
Rick Decker will present his program, Photographs of Inspiration from Hawaii, Arches National Park and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, at the Nevada Camera Club May 14 General Meeting. In this program, Rick shares geographic locations, trail guides and photography tips unique to these locations. His presentation includes three multimedia shows with inspiring images from Hawaii and the Moab and Paria Plateau areas. Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting, Heather Protz presentation — April 9, 2010.
Heather Protz will present her program, Six Years In Vegas, at the Nevada Camera Club April 9 General Meeting. In this program, Heather communicates her use of photography to express her thoughts, explorations and personal interactions within the urban landscape. Heather is a Professor of Photography at the College of Southern Nevada. Her photographs have been exhibited at art galleries throughout the United States. Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting, Peter Read Miller presentation — March 12, 2010.
Peter Read Miller, Canon USA Explorers of Light Group Member, will present his program, An Evening with Sports Illustrated Photographer Peter Read Miller, at the Nevada Camera Club March 12 General Meeting. Peter is a Sports Illustrated staff photographer who has more than 85 magazine cover images to his credit. Public opening & reception: Nevada Camera Club Exhibition, Juried 2010 — February 11, 2010, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The Nevada Camera Club Exhibition, Juried 2010 exhibition opening and artists' reception will take place at the Las Vegas Clark County Library District Centennial Hills Library on Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The public is invited and admission is free.

- Nevada Camera Club Exhibition, Juried 2010 entry acceptance. Entries will be accepted from 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM at the meeting location. The Rules & Entry Blanks PDF file is available for viewing and printing from the Club Publications web page.
- Program presentation by Rick Sammon, Canon USA Explorers of Light Group Member. Rick will show his images from worldwide locations and, with each image, he will share a photographic technique, digital darkroom tip or a photographic philosophy. Rick Sammon has authored thirty-four books and his images have been published in thousands of newspaper and magazine articles. Additional information about Rick Sammon is available on the Canon Digital Learning Center web site and the Rick Sammon web site.

Nevada Camera Club annual membership dues are due for renewal on January 1, 2010. The annual membership fee is $36 for adults, $24 for juniors (under 18) and $24 for seniors (over 62). Mail the appropriate membership fee to the following address or bring the payment to the NCC general meeting on January 8, 2010.

Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting, Rick Holmes presentation — November 13, 2009.
Rick Holmes will present his program on panoramic photography using the GigaPan Epic robotic camera mount at the Nevada Camera Club November 13 General Meeting. Rick's presentation includes a demonstration of the capture and post processing of GigaPan images. Las Vegas area panoramic images produced by Rick Holmes using this technique will be shown.
