Nevada Camera Club 24th Annual Photo Competition rules & entry form PDF file is available for viewing or printing from the Annual Competition web page and the Club Publications web page. The rules & entry form will also be distributed in the May 2007 NCC Focal Expressions newsletter and at selected Las Vegas area photographic retailers. The competition is open to the general public and Nevada Camera Club members. Anyone may enter and win.

The Nevada Camera Club Exhibition, Juried 2007 exhibition opening and artists' reception will take place at the Las Vegas Clark County Library District Sunrise Library on Tuesday, February 6, 2007 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The public is invited and admission is free.

The Nevada Camera Club 2006 Print Competition Exhibition Gallery Showing will be at the Lloyd D. George United States Court house from December 11, 2006 through January 22, 2007. The public is invited and admission is free.

The Nevada Camera Club 23rd Annual Competition exhibition opening, artists' reception and multimedia presentation will take place at the Las Vegas Clark County Library District Whitney Library on Thursday, July 13, 2006 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A multimedia presentation of all competition entries will be shown. Exhibition prints made from the first place entries in each category will be displayed in the gallery along with an exhibition of prints by Nevada Camera Club Photographer of the Year, Dean Otteson. The public is invited and admission is free.

Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting -- July 8, 2005.
Tony Gomez, Community College of Southern Nevada instructor, will present a program at the Nevada Camera Club July 8 General Meeting. Tony's photographs are published in numerous magazines and exhibited in galleries throughout the United States. Tony will show his photographs and share his knowledge of photographic art and technology. He will also answer questions about his CCSN course offerings. The public is invited and admission is free. Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting -- June 11, 2004.
Sara Rosenstein, Framing Studio operator, will present a program on creative matting and framing at the Nevada Camera Club June 11 General Meeting. Sara will share her knowledge of photographic print presentation for competition and wall decor purposes. Sara will also answer questions about archival materials. The Nevada Camera Club field trip to Bitter Spring Road and Buffington Pockets is scheduled for May 16, 2004. Meet at 9:00 AM in the Moapa Paiute Indian General Store parking lot located at Interstate 15 and Nevada Route 169 (I-15 exit #75, Valley of Fire State Park). Nevada Camera Club field trips are provided exclusively for NCC members and their invited guests. Information on becoming a Nevada Camera Club Member is located on the Join NCC web page.

The Nevada Camera Club Electronic Image Competition entry interface is now available to NCC members. Look for the "Members Only" link on the NCC web site home page. The Electronic Image Competition which was scheduled for March 26, 2004 has been rescheduled to April 9, 2004. A special program will be presented at the General Meeting on March 26, 2004.

Nevada Camera Club Monthly Competition Rules have been revised. Electronic Image Division has been added to NCC competitions and the Monthly Competitions will rotate among slides, prints and electronic images. The first NCC Electronic Image Competition will take place on March 26, 2004. Attendance at NCC Monthly Competitions is open to the public. Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting -- November 7, 2003.
Sheree Norman will present a program on macro and close-up photography at the Nevada Camera Club November 7 General Meeting. Sheree is a senior crime scene analyst employed by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and she is a photography instructor at Community College of Southern Nevada. Sheree is a Nevada Camera Club past president and recipient of the NCC Horizon Merit Award. She has lead several Nevada Camera Club field trips. The program is open to the general public. Nevada Camera Club Program Meeting -- March 14, 2003.
- Brief presentation to the members of Nevada Camera Club by His Honor Oscar Goodman, City of Las Vegas Mayor.
- Introduction of new Epson photo quality inkjet printers by Epson America, Inc. representative Peter Sorenson.
- Selection of Nevada Camera Club member's transparencies for entry into Nature's Best International Photography Awards competition. NCC members should bring color transparencies on 35mm or larger film to the meeting. The transparencies must be mounted in 2" x 2" slide mounts. Super Slides will be accepted. Nevada Camera Club members attending the meeting will select up to 20 transparencies, with a maximum of 3 transparencies per member, for entry into the contest. The NCC entry will be judged by the contest sponsor as a portfolio with selection based on the overall excellence of the entire body of the entry. Please see the Focal Expressions March 2003 issue for details.
